Ashley: Ever since I was little I always loved being in front of the camera and was always having people take photos of me! One day I decided to submit a couple photos to an agency and lucky enough they signed me!
W&HM: Could you give new models a few tips about being a great model?
Ashley: It always amazes me how when I show up on time to a shoot the photographers always say, "Wow, models are never on time!" Don't be late! It's disrespectful to everyone involved. Also, look at the models in magazines and have someone take photos of you as you practice different poses and see what angles are best for your body type.
W&HM: Great one! What are the perks that you like most?
Ashley: I've been blessed to meet so many talented people and also being able to keep clothing/accessories never hurts either! :)
W&HM: What would be your pet peeves when you're in an event?
Ashley: My biggest pet peeve would be how people assume just because I'm a model, I don't have any substance to me.
W&HM: Please share with us what you are working on.
Ashley: I just shot a national campaign so look out for me this spring!
W&HM: Now a totally different topic... What is your most favorite food?
Ashley: Cheesecake! I have a huge sweet tooth and could eat sweets all day, every day!
W&HM: That's cool! Do you cook? And do you like to go out of just take out?
Ashley: I do enjoy cooking and baking! I make a lot of pasta dishes and desserts of course! :)
W&HM: How about spicy foods? Any particular dish you like?
Ashley: I love spicy foods! Especially Mexican food dishes!
W&HM: Cool! Now here is a different topic. Could you share a quote that truly inspires you?
Ashley: "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not." -Dr. Seuss
As a model and public figure, I believe that I am given a platform to speak out on topics that I feel passionate about. For me, I believe in animal rights and pet adoption. We have to use our voices to speak for those who can't.
W&HM: What do you like to do during weekends?
Ashley: Well, I'm usually working on the weekends! Typically, I'm at some sort of Motorsports event, whether it's Supercross, NHRA, etc. When I have some time off, I spend it being lazy at home watching movies and snuggling with my dog!
W&HM: How about sports? Do you follow any teams out there?
Ashley: Motorsports have become a huge part of my life based on my work and I enjoy watching them. I also like watching baseball and root for my Chicago Cubbies!
W&HM: Niceee! Now, if you have a movie for your modeling life, what title would it be?
Ashley: "Taking chances" Is that lame? Haha. I took a huge risk by moving from Illinois to California and quitting a "normal" job to pursue my dreams. I believe you have to take risks in life to be successful.
W&HM: That's awesome! How about writing a fortune cookie saying for yourself, what would it be?
Ashley: Okay, I looked this up online!! "Your ambitious nature will help make a name for yourself."
Ashley: I've always wanted a white Range Rover. I have to have something big enough to fit my dogs in!
W&HM: Awesome!! Last question, what would you like to say to all the fans in the planet?
